On a personal front, it was a productive year. I did get to see more of the country I had been wanting to see for some time, and felt less like a tourist and more like a seasoned traveller than ever before.

Easter is always a bit of a trying time for my life. While obviously a wonderfully joyful season, Easter as a church musician comes with the added strain of extra rehearsals, additional services to play, and a very long Holy Week. This Easter was trying for a different reason, though, because this Easter was the year I almost died if it weren’t for my TSX giving its life for mine.

It’s known to most that the Harry Potter novel and movie series is beloved by a great many in the world, and there is little that can change popular opinion one way or the other. As the final installment of an 8 film epic saga, fans and naysayers alike have long ago determined if they will watch this momentous occasion or not.
